‘I’ll give it a good crack for Paris’: Alan Forsyth returns to GB Hockey programme

Alan Forsyth has returned to the GB men’s programme as the Scot sets his sights on being picked for a first Olympic Games at the third time of asking.

Forsyth was a reserve for the Tokyo Games, with then GB coach Danny Kerry not making use of the Covid rule introduced by the International Olympic Committee, which permitted teams to use the two reserve players outside the squad of 16.

The Scot has learned to overcome that disappointment and is now on a mission to make the Team GB squad for Paris, as well as aiming high with Old Georgians in Europe and a hat-trick of league titles.
