I can reach world hockey caps record, says John-John Dohmen

Belgium’s John-John Dohmen aims to become the most capped men’s hockey player in history before the end of his career. He will be within 11 of the record should Belgium defend their Hockey World Cup title in India.

Dohmen, who reaches 35 on Jan 24, is currently on 436 caps after deciding to carry on his career following the Red Lions gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

“I always go for big challenges and results,” Dohmen revealed to The Hockey Paper during an exclusive interview earlier this year.
