Mark Pearn, Alan Forsyth‘s club coach at Surbiton, has rallied around the Scot after he was omitted from the Team GB men’s hockey squad for the Tokyo Olympics.
Forsyth has led the forward lines at Surbiton over the last five years, becoming top goalscorer in English club hockey four times alongside his call ups to the Great Britain squad.
But after The Hockey Paper revealed this week that Forsyth was set to miss out on inclusion, there was an outpouring of support for the Scottish international.
