Sports technology company Teamer has announced it has acquired FixturesLive Limited, the leading UK based competition management platform.
FixturesLive, which services around 300 hockey leagues and 7000 teams, is a market leader in the provision of digital tools for the administration and organisation of sports leagues and clubs.
The purchase cements Teamer’s position as the market leading provider of league and competition management software following its acquisition of Club Website Limited in 2015.
“Teamer has evolved from being the app of choice for sports teams to organise themselves to a diverse sports platform that covers team, club and competition management and communication with integrated payments and communication. We are excited to welcome FixturesLive users to the Teamer platform” said Teamer CEO Robert Mattar.
FixturesLive Founder David Lloyd-Williams commented: “We are delighted to be joining forces with Teamer, a leading player in the global sports tech space. It is a great opportunity to build on our achievements so far.”
Since its formation in 2008, Teamer has grown to more than 2.5m members across global markets, with its suite of online and mobile application tools for coaches, managers, players and parents. The acquisition of FixturesLive Limited further enhances Teamer’s position as the leading provider of online sports management tools for teams, clubs and leagues.
