Men’s Hockey World Cup: X-factor Nathan Ephraums aims for further Australia riches

It is fair to say that Nathan Ephraums has put his best foot forward after being overlooked for the Tokyo Games. 

After a stellar 18 months or so, the Victorian is one of five men’s World Cup first-timers as Australia vye to go one better after falling to Belgium in the 2018 final.

Ephraums, 23, was the youngest member of the Kookaburras’ squad as they cantered to Commonwealth Games gold in the summer. And his stock rose with some superb performances in opposition circles (six goals) as did his Hockey One showings back home.
