‘We have everything to win the Olympics’: Coach Alyson Annan on China women

China women’s coach Alyson Annan says “teams are watching us now” ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics.

China, who also have Ric Charlesworth as assistant coach, came away with honours at the Perth International Festival of Hockey ahead of hosts Australia and Japan last month following a seven-week training programme in Western Australia.

Annan has taken China from world No.14 to seventh in the world rankings since the Australian took charge in May 2022.
