HOW TO WATCH ON TV IN UK AND IRELAND

The BBC and Eurosport will screen GB matches, although their live schedule is yet to be determined. BBC 5 Live will have regular radio coverage and updates. It is not known as this stage about highlights packages.

On the BBC coverage, there is a second Olympic channel streaming on iPlayer. The BBC are restricted to two TV platforms with broadcast media rights in Europe awarded to Warner Bros. Discovery, who own Eurosport and streaming platform Discovery+.

Thus, the BBC will be unable to stream every sport live.

For hockey fans keen to catch all the other games in the competition, Eurosport is the official streaming partner for the Olympic Games and will be the hub for all other hockey fixtures.

discovery+ will be available for just £3.99 per month with a unique Olympics offer*, giving new customers access to the Standard Plan at the discounted price for the rest of the year. The offer will be available via discoveryplus.com from 17 July – 11 August 2024. Offers will also be available via other select subscriptions providers.

On linear TV, Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 will broadcast wall-to-wall action across every day of competition, with live coverage from 7am -10.30pm daily, totalling 350 live hours, with highlights and replays available through the night. Both Eurosport 1 and 2 will be available on discovery+, so too will seven event-curated Eurosport ‘pop-up’ channels. These dedicated Olympic channels will also be available on a variety of Warner Bros. Discovery partner TV and streaming platforms.

RTE2 will broadcast the Irish men’s hockey team as part of their overall coverage of the Games.

  1. Any help for the fans who have actual tickets? details of travel to the ground – accommodation – how much walking is necessary. Can find no advice for those who are making the trip and have bought tickets.

  2. Olympics.com is listing the first game GB/ESP as 09:00 – you have it at 10:00.
So … they are UK time, you are French?
