From East Grinstead women to Epsom men, Mary Booth aims to add coaching stardust

In Mary Booth, Epsom Hockey Club have not only acquired a coach of the highest calibre, but also a director of hockey with a wealth of knowledge of the game, and experience to boot.

Booth’s spell as coach of East Grinstead Women’s 1s saw her take the reigning Premier Division champions from the South Club’s Division 3B all the way to the top.

“It took us five years to go from nowhere to the Premier League, so that was great,” she tells The Hockey Paper.
