Max Lowrey aims for hockey silverware with East Grinstead

Only two seasons ago Max Lowrey was captain of a Premier Division team. Now he has made the switch from Wimbledon to East Grinstead in search of a project aimed at building for the future.

“I was just looking for a different challenge,” he says. “Speaking to the coaching staff and the guys at EG, I felt like there was a real drive to make something.”

“It’s a club that has a lot of history and has been at the top. There’s a feeling at the club that we want those things to happen again. It might not be this year, it might not be next year, but there’s that desire to be a team competing with the best of the best.”
