‘Game changer’: Gareth Ikin sets focus on Scottish club hockey

Gareth Ikin is normally seen high up on a tower filming games for Scotland’s senior women’s hockey team at home and abroad, but now he comes out from behind the lens to focus on domestic hockey North of the Border having taken over as director of hockey at ambitious Uddingston Hockey Club near Glasgow.

The affable Englishman also becomes head coach for the ladies squad at the Lanarkshire club who have beefed up their coaching team with three other newcomers.
