Student player Emma Allroggen believes that the circumstances which universities playing Premier Division hockey find themselves in leads to different challenges than those faced by longstanding top flight club sides.
Allroggen started playing hockey at the age of four, joining Rugby and East Warwickshire Hockey Club’s junior programme after watching her older sister play. Alongside turning out for the Midlands club, she also played at both Bablake School and through the England Hockey Player Pathway.
