‘Hockey community hold keys to help Flyerz flourish’

“Why doesn’t the hockey community see that their sport is suitable and adaptable for people who are not like them?”

So says Fiona Lloyd-Williams, the head of the Flyerz Hockey provision at London Wayfarers Hockey Club, who wants to see better support for Flyerz from amongst the hockey community to achieve a critical mass of participation that will allow the sport to flourish.

Flyerz Hockey is a pan-disability provision that creates a fun, safe and inclusive environment in which disabled and non-disabled people can play hockey together.
