Is hockey an unexplored market in the gaming industry?

Gaming is one of the fastest-growing industries and is worth roughly $250 billion. Despite this, hockey has yet to take full advantage of this market, writes TOM KIPLING.

There are many forms of sports games; they vary depending on the format of technology, whether that is PC, mobile, or console. Even with this variety, hockey has historically not indulged in any form of gaming. There have been only a few smaller games released on mobile such as Field Hockey Heroes.
