Melbourne hockey clubs aims to tap into Greek sporting community

There is an “untapped market” for more quality Greek players to emerge in hockey, according to one player keen to grow the game in Australia.

With a big Greek community in Melbourne, plans are in place to form the first Greek-based hockey club in the state – Melbourne Hellas HC – and tap into a market where soccer and basketball rules the roost.
