Hockey Pro League: Germany women stand apart against Great Britain

Lee Valley — Germany women continued to ramp up their bid for home EuroHockey glory with a deserved 4-1 victory over lacklustre hosts Great Britain on Monday evening.

Great Britain, in their penultimate Pro League outing, were always second best at Lee Valley as Germany inflicted their sixth defeat in seven outings against their continental rivals, who seemed to be playing for EuroHockey places against a team which will end the Pro League in a mediocre position, having tried and tested out home nation players before reverting to England.
