Hockey Pro League: Great Britain men ride high to top standings

Lee Valley — You have to venture back 103 years, when they trounced Belgium 12-1 at the 1920 Olympics, to find Great Britain men’s previous biggest victory. In the modern era, this was another significant victory for Paul Revington’s unbeaten side on the road to Paris 2024. 

It was achieved courtesy of a first-half blitz, the Sultan of Johor winning group coming to the fore through goals from Stu Rushmere and Jack Waller, while Nick Bandurak’s PC added gloss.
