Over-80s hockey masters provide heartwarming images for players worldwide

“There are not many other team sports across the world where this occurs! It’s one of the many reasons hockey is such a great and inclusive sport.” So wrote Hockey Paper reader Simon Thresher after we published photos of England over-80s in action against their Netherlands counterparts.

Our post on Facebook caught the attention and the over-80s were roundly praised, suggesting that their run-outs in Breda might keep many hockey players going as long as possible!
