The most dominant force in English hockey in the last 20 years, this heavyweight club didn’t have a great season last year but they have put in the work during the off season with some cracking signings. The first mention goes to James Mazarelo in goal. A good keeper is worth their weight in gold to any team.
He didn’t get a huge amount of pitch time in the Commonwealths but make no mistakes – this guy is quality and will make a huge difference to Surbiton. He’s a hell of a shot stopper, I have seen him make saves right out of the top drawer. A real exciting young talent and the best is yet to come.
