Luxembourg aim high with Olympic hockey hopes

Luxembourg’s only hockey side scored its first goal on the European stage in 2019. Now, they have fanciful aspirations of making it to the Olympics after the club’s “momentous year”. Richard Bright reports

Casting minds back to a time when tournaments were allowed at the EuroHockey Club Challenge IV, Hockey Club Luxembourg entered for the first time and finished a very credible fifth of eight teams, which included sides from Gibraltar, Croatia and Norway.
