My life in hockey: Trojans’ Emma Teague

In the latest from our regular series, we speak to Trojans’ 46-year-old Emma Teague, with the Vitality Women’s Division 1 South side currently battling to avoid relegation

Most of my friendships have been formed through sport and hockey. Yes, it‘s the taking part but for me hockey is about the competition and the people you meet along the way.

I started at Trojans when I was at university in Chichester in 1994. I had one season playing national league football but I decided that hockey was for me.
