Loughborough aim for BUCS title and league high in coach’s memory

Maddie Pearce celebrated her 100th cap for Loughborough this week but now wants a double helping of success in memory of Andrew Gibson, the club’s assistant coach.

Gibson tragically died in a car accident in September while the club called off matches following his sad passing. That match, against Wimbledon, will be played this weekend as Loughborough set about a double header and the path towards a top six place in the Vitality Women’s Premier Division.
