Hockey Writers’ Club seeks global nominations for annual volunteer award

The Hockey Writers’ Club is looking for global nominations for the Volunteer of the Year award, which will be announced at our 40th annual awards lunch in February.

English official Rob Jenkins became the inaugural recipient of the HWC Volunteer of the Year award at the 2022 awards.

Do you know someone who has gone above and beyond what would be expected in their role? Nominations can be from any club or region globally.

The submission should include:

– What the volunteer role is
– How the volunteer’s involvement has impacted positively on the club or region
– What difference the volunteer has made
– Examples, images or video

A Hockey Writers’ Club judging panel will make the final decision

The person nominated should not be in a paid role.

Please complete the form by the deadline of Dec 17 at the latest.
