Photographer Frank Uijlenbroek on capturing hockey in the moment

The Hockey Paper caught up with WorldSportPics founder Frank Uijlenbroek at the Hockey World Cup in Bhubaneswar.

The Dutchman first started taking images in hockey in 1997 and owns WorldSportPics, together with photographers across the globe providing images for a wealth of media.

We asked Frank how the game has changed over 25 years, who his best players have been to portray and how to take the best hockey images with today’s speed of the game.

“You try to capture this one moment. It’s a talent with luck,” he says.
