Kate Richardson-Walsh has led a multitude of tributes to former England and GB player Val Robinson who passed away at the weekend.
Robinson, 80, was revered as one of the finest players of her generation, gifted with fine skill, fitness and athleticism over more than 20 years on the international scene and countless more at domestic level.
“Val was a legend who blazed a trail for so many people in our sport,” said Richardson-Walsh.
