Hockey World Cup tickets still at stake at Euro Hockey 2021

Spain in the hotseat

Spain men are in the hotseat for a World Cup berth from Pool C. With the women hosting the 2022 World Cup, the Spanish now look set for a berth at the 2023 men’s World Cup after two wins and a healthy goal difference over France, who are also chasing bounty ahead of hosting the 2024 Olympics.

Russia rue card

When Semen Matkovskiy, a former ice hockey junior before deciding on the field version, was yellow carded in the 51st minute of Russia’s match with France, his side were leading 4-3 and on their way to their first Eurohockey win in a decade. France proceeded to score three times in as many minutes.
