Ex Australia Hockey performance director to lead cycling probe

Toni Cumpston, the former Hockey Australia high performance director, is to lead a probe into Team Australia’s dramatic crash at the Olympic velodrome during Tokyo 2020.

Aussie cyclist Alex Porter was riding in the men’s team pursuit when his handlebar snapped mid race and ended any hopes of gold. They eventually won bronze.
