We need return to dedicated video umpires, says India coach Janneke Schopman

Janneke Schopman, India women’s coach, believes the mounting minutes it takes for video referrals is becoming a “blight on the game”, and believes there should be more of a push for players to become umpires at the top level.

After experiencing weeks on the road at the Women’s World Cup and then the Commonwealth Games, where India finished with a bronze medal, Schopman says that reviews are simply taking “too long”.
