Norfolk club Watton aim high for 2022 to rejuvenate sports centre facility

After a two-year hiatus from fundraising, Norfolk-based Watton Hockey Club are going big for 2022. Due to lack of funding at Watton Sports Centre, where the club plays, Watton’s pitch is in dire need of an upgrade and is currently in a “sorry state” as it aims to raise £300,000.

Now, club officials are planning an ambitious three-day tournament over the Queen’s Jubilee next June, as well as a party hosted by Watton HC and prize auction featuring a signed Tokyo 2020 Team GB playing shirt.
