Surbiton women aim high for domestic and European hockey success

Surbiton women will be favourites for yet another Premier Division title after seven consecutive wins prior to last season’s cancellation. Speaking ahead of the Premier Division openers this weekend, captain Sarah Evans put that dominance down to club ethic, coach Brett Garrard and the Colts set-up.

While Surbiton are no strangers to success domestically, the club has yet to experience any great moments to savour in European hockey, something which they are keen to fix while Great Britain international Evans believes that the new league structure could help with that.
