Masters Talk: I’d love to don the black of the Kiwi over-60s hockey team

In his latest Masters’ player profile, Mark McElligott chats with Roger Wesney, a New Zealander who has been living in Spain for over 30 years. Roger left New Zealand in 1984 and tells us how he came to become part of Spanish Masters hockey

Nickname: Depending on the geographics of where I’ve played, hockey nicknames have included my Nelson (NZ) teenage ‘RJ’ days, my brief Canberra ‘Juicy’ days and my current Basque Country/Spain classically nicknamed, ‘Kiwi’ days.
