Windows or Linux, which is better to choose?

I’ve been thinking for a long time which is better Windows or Linux? I had a lot of problems with Linux, everything seemed to be fine with Windows, but now I can’t activate Windows, it crashes. So I’m wondering if it can be solved quickly or is it better to go back to Linux?
