To set up your Wavlink extender as the access point, you can access the web interface and choose the AP mode. Basically, this mode works more optimally than the repeater as there is a wired connection between the extender and router. So, connect the Wavlink extender to the PoE connector and your router to the same connector as well. Then, launch a web browser on the networked device and access your wavlink ac1200 repeater setup portal. Further, log into the extender and move to the setup page on the next window. Now, while configuring the extender, choose the Access Point mode from various options and click Save. Also, fill in the basic required details when prompted and follow the on-screen directions to complete the process. Once the setup is complete connect your more devices to the network and enjoy the highest internet speed.
