Hi, Firstly, men tend to have higher levels of muscle mass compared to women. Muscle requires more energy to maintain, so men often have a higher basal metabolic rate (BMR). This means that even at rest, they burn more calories. Secondly, activity level also plays a role. Men often tend to do more intense physical activity, which increases their TDEE.
