AH&BC Amsterdam became the first Dutch side to win the men’s EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup as they hit the front early against Harvestehuder THC and held off top-class German challenge.
In the final in Sant Cugat del Vallès on Sunday they defeated the five-time winners from Germany 7-4.

The bronze went to host Junior, who defeated the dethroned defending champion Royal Léopold from Belgium 5-4.
Alan Forsyth’s five-goal haul saw Old Georgians assure they will stay in the top division in 2027 as English champions as they saw off TJ Plzeň-Litice 6-3.
He got the only goal of the first half and when he nailed a corner in Q3, Plzeň removed the goalkeeper to open up the game.
Forsyth made it 3-0 before the Czechs got two back to briefly threaten the draw they needed but Forsyth struck twice more to guarantee safety.
Their outcome is the best for an English side since East Grinstead finished fourth in 2017.
