Beth Alexander: I had my mind set on East Grinstead

Beth Alexander, who broke into the England Hockey women’s tteam at the end of last year, is set for a fresh challenge this season after joining East Grinstead following a standout university career with Loughborough Students.

The Cheshire-born midfielder began her hockey journey at Crewe Vagrants, the club that produced fellow England player Henry Weir,  before progressing to Brooklands. After excelling at Loughborough University — where she captained the side for three years — she has now chosen East Grinstead as the next step in her career.
