Not sure GB v ENG would make a lot of difference. A few players that need to hang up their boots, I think, but I’m not close enough to the domestic game to know if there are adequate replacements.
Contracted players reduces flexibility of selection.
The M side remain exciting and, with a bunch of quality at the top end of European hockey, occasionally you’re going to come out on the wrong side of a result. We don’t seem to have that extra bit of confidence that the top 3 have, nothing lacking in the motor skills, just “head skills” need improving.
We seemed a bit clueless in the France game but I’ve only coached U14 so what do I know?
The girls are very disappointing and a major overhaul might be needed.
