Oxted will compete at the Premier Division Finals for the first time as placings went down to the final game of the regular season across the men’s and women’s top flight.
Oxted men will play at Nottingham Hockey Centre on May 3/4 after edging Beeston at home 3-2 in a fiery encounter while Holcombe fell at Surbiton.
Old Georgians, who racked up their 100th goal of the season earlier this month, finished top of their pool with Wimbledon second.
Both teams had already confirmed their Finals berth as OGs beat Wimbledon 4-2. Sam Ward scored a PC hat-trick.
It means that OGs will play Oxted in the league semi-finals and Surbiton meet Wimbledon for the fourth time this season.
Three 2024 finalists will return for the 2025 women’s finale, with Wimbledon missing out this time as Reading enter the fray.
Surbiton will take on East Grinstead and Hampstead & Westminster take on Reading.
Surbiton finished top after beating Reading, who lost for the first time away from home, and ensuring a better goal difference.
With Loughborough beating Clifton Robinsons in a shoot-out on Saturday, defeat would have seen the champions miss out on Finals Weekend in Nottingham for the first time since first playing top flight hockey in 2012.
At the bottom, Holcombe and Sutton Coldfield were both demoted from the Women’s Premier Division.
Bowdon and Richmond go down from the men’s top flight.
