GB Hockey survives Olympic funding cuts with cash boost

Despite failing to medal at the Paris Games, British hockey has been spared potentially damaging Olympic programme cuts with a cash injection on the road to the Los Angeles Games in 2028.

Hockey was the most significantly funded sport not to receive a medal for Team GB at the Paris Olympics following two quarter-final exits in the men’s and women’s tournaments.
