The schedule for the men and women EuroHockey Championships 2025 has been released.
The event will take place from Aug 8 to 17 at the SparkassenPark in Mönchengladbach. It will be the second successive tournament hosted there before London hosts in 2027.
On the final days half of the tickets have already been sold, as of mid November.
Netherlands and Germany were drawn apart in the men’s EuroHockey in the hotly-anticipated men’s rematch of the Olympic final.
Opening night on Aug 8 sees Poland men return to the top level for the first time since 2017 to face 2023 finalists England before reigning World Cup winners Germany face France in Pool B.
The top match on Aug 11, with the classic between Germany and the Netherlands in the women’s event will probably be sold out quickly, as it was last year.
Germany men also have a demanding programme ahead of them. There will be a repeat of the semi-finals of the 2023 EuroHockey classic against England.
Another highlight on Aug 10 is the clash of the world No.1 Dutch and Belgium.
The pool stages run from Friday Aug 8 to the Wednesday, Aug 13, before the semi-finals take shape.
