The British players hoping for Hockey India League franchise bids

Ahead of the first Hockey India League in seven years, 34 British players have registered for this weekend’s auction, The Hockey Paper can reveal.

Star names include plenty of Paris Olympians, with 15 women’s players all part of the GB Hockey programme, all except Sophie Bray, who retired at club level ahead of this season but is still considered one of the best British products.
