The Hockey India League (HIL) was confirmed to make a comeback on Friday when it gets under way in late December after a seven-year hiatus.
HIL 2024-25 will feature eight men’s teams and six women’s teams, marking the first time a standalone women’s league will run concurrently with the men’s competition. Over 100 international players will take part.
