Alyson Annan took on the job before the 2022 World Cup, enlisted an array of coaching talent to follow in her footsteps, and set about instilling confidence and skill to the Chinese. There are over 2,000 players in China, in a country of millions. Annan stated that the challenge was to create a solid club system.
