Paris Olympics Hockey: Red card and planning for 10 men – how Alpine trip put India into last four

Paris — India would like to think they could have won their memorable men’s Olympic quarter-final – even if hockey’s rules were extra-time before a shoot-out.

Their coach Craig Fulton said it was “more of a statement than a win” as India, camped in their 23m, repelled everything Great Britain threw their way after his side went down to 10 men for the last 43 minutes.
