‘Ridiculous’: Belgium’s fathers pay full Olympic hockey ticket prices for babies

Paris — Hockey stars have hit out at the ‘ridiculous’ Paris 2024 Olympics policy of being forced to pay full price for tickets for their young children.

Paris 2024 ticket rules stipulate that even newborn babies must have a fully paid for seat – even if they will not actually use it.

There are six Belgium players who are fathers to 10 children in all. Yet, like many Olympic athletes who have travelled with young offspring, including babies, they still have to fork out tickets for seats.
