Ireland rely on more in final third to rescue Paris Olympic Hockey hopes

Paris — This was an afternoon when even the Indian players were feeling the heat and humidity. PR Sreejesh took breaks to sit on the backboards.

Some 10 minutes after the final whistle, Shane O’Donoghue then had to take several moments to catch his breath before reflecting on another spirited display, but one which again ended without the desired result to finally kick start their Olympic campaign.
