Paris Olympics Hockey: Ireland men set sights on India

Paris — “We knew what we were coming for. The first three games are gold, silver and bronze from the last Olympics.”

So said Lisnargarvey’s Johnny Lynch after he completed his first 60 minutes of these Olympics following the injury to Nick Page in Ireland’s opening defeat.

This has been Ireland’s own ‘Tokyo trilogy’ having played 2020 finalists Belgium and now Australia in Paris.
