Summer 2023: Welcome to the world of MT13 Residential hockey camps

Who are MT13

We’ve been running hockey camps and courses for over 10 years and have built a reputation for delivering innovative high-quality individual or group hockey. We work with players who are new to hockey right up to those who play at international level, making hockey accessible, fun and fulfilling for everyone.

With 3 Residentials this summer, let’s take a closer look.

The venues

Repton School & University of Nottingham

Chosen for their world class facilities. We have access to conferencing suites for video analysis and presentations, a key part of our elite residentials. During downtime, the accommodation has communal areas for relaxing, spending time in your nations to practice for the talent show and spacious dormitories. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks are provided by the on site catering team. This combined with the Innovative expertise of MT13 creates residential camps that are unmatched.

Residential Camp

Running since 2010 and built on the same foundations from when we first launched them, they have evolved over the years. Always underpinned by MT13s innovative approach to hockey, they are designed to improve players technical skill and tactical understanding.

Launched in 2022 was the technical lab. This sees players assessed against 4 predetermined skills, and will feature again this summer. These residentials are suitable for players in school Year 5 – 13 (GKs and Outfield Players) you are guaranteed to have a fun, immersive experience, taking your hockey to the next level.

New for 2023

Do you offer anything more than a 2 day camp for the younger age groups?

YES!

Alongside our August residential at Repton this year, we are running a 5-day camp for children aged 6-10 (UK school year 2-5). They will have the same in-depth hockey experience over the 5 days, without the stay over. This offers the younger age the opportunity to really accelerate the start of their hockey journey in a fun and innovate environment. Children are to be dropped off at 10am and collected at 6pm each day.

Whats new on camps?

As part of MT13s DNA we have developed 3 new innovative coaching aids this summer! Watch this space!

Meet Claudia

First becoming part of the team as a player aged 8, she now plays for Nottingham Univeristy 1st Team. UoN have just finished their first season in the Vitality Premier League where they finished in the top 8 and won BUCs Gold for the 2nd year running.  “Playing my first season of premier league hockey, has been a great experience and learning curve. To compete every week against some of the best players and teams in the UK has been amazing”.

Outside of university hockey, Claudia is in the England hockey EDP squad and “competed in the Junior World Cup last April in South Africa where we achieved a bronze medal. I am also currently completing some training with the GB ladies squad”.

Off the pitch, Claudia is part of the MT13 coaching team, passing on her knowledge and passion to the next rising stars. Claudia and the team look forward to seeing you on a residential this summer.
