Hockey Matters: Developing resilience as an individual player and team

Resilience is one of the most talked about concepts in elite professional sports and is regularly highlighted, by coaches and the media, as a critical characteristic seen in the best athletes across a variety of sports. However, whilst it is widely referred to, there seems to be some misunderstanding of what it is and how to develop it. I will provide some answers to these questions by using personal experiences of working in elite sport along with the available research evidence.
