It was inspirational to watch the football and see England women beat Sweden in the Euros 2022 on Tuesday night. We had a big Team England set up at the Athletes’ Village with a big screen where we watched it all together. They deserve to be in the Wembley final on Sunday and having a home crowd really getting behind you was fantastic to see.
We have seen and heard the football absolutely everywhere since we’ve been back from the World Cup, and it’s what the sport and the team deserves. We now want to be in a similar situation. Not for us as a team, but for our sport and women’s sport. To get that traction and attention would be absolutely incredible.
