During the Women’s Junior World Cup in South Africa, a question from a coach caught my attention. What is a typical day for a hockey umpire during a tournament?
I am not going to focus specifically here on the JWC because the days are kind of the same in every tournament. The biggest difference will be the location of the hotel, the pitch and the time in between the two locations because of course managing your own time is essential as an umpire.
